RWB convenes Multi-Stakeholders Platform learning session
29th May 2024: The Rwanda Water Resources Board, in collaboration with the 2030 Water Resources Group, organized a learning session that brought together members of the Multi-Stakeholders Platform (MSP) in water resources management.
In his opening remarks, Dr. Emmanuel Rukundo, the Director General of Rwanda Water Resources Board, explained the purpose of the Multi-Stakeholders Platform as outlined in the Prime Minister Order No 031/03 of 30/11/2022, which established the National Water Consultative Committee (NWCC) where the MSP is included.
The learning session provided Rwanda Multi-Stakeholders Platform members with valuable insights into the operations of country platforms. Facilitators also shared their experiences from other countries, including India, Mongolia, Bangladesh, and Kenya, focusing on priority projects.
The multi-stakeholder platform (MSP) in Water Resources Management comprises government institutions, private sector representatives, NGOs, and civil society organizations related to water resources management.
